Cost Systems Group, Inc. (CSG) was initially established in 1989 as a healthcare consulting company focused on helping hospitals and other healthcare organizations more fully realize benefits from their existing software and technology investments. Specializing in decision support systems, CSG built an extensive services practice with our main service offerings centered on productivity management, product costing, and budgeting.

CSG is perhaps best known, however, as the original developer and distributor of the widely-adopted Visionware® healthcare labor cost management software. It has been estimated that Visionware® has helped hospitals save well over a billion dollars since the initial general product release. CSG is solely focused on helping our customers achieve their cost management goals.

Management

David S. Clement is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CSG. Mr. Clement is a co-founder of the original company and played critical leadership roles in the initial design and development of Visionware® as well as in the development and delivery of the company's many service offerings. For several years subsequent to the Kronos Incorporated purchase of Visonware from CSG, Mr. Clement continued to run the Visionware business as a division of Kronos. In this capacity he had overall responsibility for all ongoing product development, engineering, installation and support services, consulting services, and sales activities associated with the Visionware product line and certain other analytic offerings provided by Kronos. Mr. Clement is both honored and excited to be leading the new CSG and has over 20 years of results oriented healthcare cost management experience.

Joining Mr. Clement are numerous other healthcare cost and labor management experts - many of whom are original CSG employees also. Our staff is highly experienced with deep domain expertise in healthcare decision support, productivity monitoring, product costing, budgeting, staffing, and overall hospital labor cost management issues.
